OUR STORY

Coach’s Restaurant opened our doors in March of 2022. On the coat tails of the Covid-19 pandemic, management and staff wanted to create a space that allowed for the community to gather once again. By integrating the Island way of togetherness, and the small town community minded approach to everyday life, the name Coach’s was born.

As a sports bar, Coach’s was imagined with consideration to not only the sports fan’s dream watering hole, but it also worked in conjunction to the rich history of the PEI railroad, and the Sherwood Train Station which was right up the road from where Coach’s stands today.

Sherwood was the hub of the island, from near and far people gathered at the train station to embark on many different adventures, but the sense of togetherness and community was never lost. This is the cornerstone of what Coach’s sets out to be each and every day, the gathering hub where stories are shared over a beverage, and everyone is welcome. We look forward to serving you, whether you are starting your journey with us, finishing a long day or you simply want to stop in for a quick visit; we will always be thrilled to serve you.
